This green tree or shrub has panicles of tiny greenish flowers and peer-shaped green fruit.

USES
The delicious edible avocado pulp has the highest protein content of any fruit. Extracted oil from the fruit is used in skin creams and massage oils for its penetrative powers, which improve dull and lifeless skin.
The infused diuretic leaves are drunk to cleanse the liver and reduce high blood pressure. The bark and leaves are used to treat stomach and chest ailments and control menstruation. The seeds help treat dysentery. |
